Plaster Casts for the National Theatre Education Project

We were involved in a series of workshops with secondary schools in co-ordindation with the National Theatre.

The project, which coincided with the National Theatre’s 50th birthday celebrations, took the children on a tour of the South bank and the National Theatre, focusing in particular on the brutalist architecture of Denis Lasdun. The children copied the mark making apparent in the concrete structures along the Southbank through there own interpretations of plaster casts and created plans of how they thought the National Theatre might look like in 2063 on its 100th birthday.
